nikki nice : project unlabeled : bio : our community of women

as we continue with the mission of project unlabeled : i define me, once a week - throughout the year - we will be featuring black women in our community. strong, resilient, compassionate, creative women who echo the project unlabeled message that "i am who i am and i will be who i choose to be," and that that is enough!
starting off this week we have the fabulous nicole owens, also known as "nikki nice". I've only met nikki recently but i really love her warm and inviting spirit. she is SO funny too. we may have got sidetracked and laughed a bit too much while shooting this. she is engaged in her community and proactive about seeing positive change within it!!
